You spend excessive amounts of time looking at the sky, you notice the butterflies and the birds, you really feel each breeze. Maybe because we all hope that the person we lost may not be in the same form anymore, but that they’re now a part of everything. They are the breeze, the sky, the flowers, the birds. They are there, always, bringing you comfort. I miss you dad, but I’ll be okay, because I still feel you every time I step outside. Or everytime your favorite songs randomly play. Or even when I’m beginning my career, following your footsteps and becoming someone to teach and help and inspire.
